About

Hi there,

My name is Andrew, and I live in Paradise, NL with my wife Deidre and two kids (Rae and Pierson), and our Australian Shepherd (Batman). Yes, we live in a town called Paradise — we love it here and it’s home! Over the last number of years, I’ve had the pleasure of working in everything from supply chain to pastoring local churches to leading senior living communities.

Our education is just as mixed up as our experience. I graduated in 2008 with a B.B.A. from Memorial University and later, in 2012, with an M.T.S. in from Tyndale Seminary in Toronto, ON. Deidre also graduated from Tyndale in 2012 with a BA in Biblical Studies and Theology.

Since leaving Bethel Bay Roberts, as lead pastors, in the earlier part of 2018, we’ve come to realize that God has placed us in a very unique place of ministry. While life continues to throw curveballs, we are always really excited to discover how God will use our giftings and abilities. As unique as it might be sometimes, and not always as ‘full-time pastors,’ we are both enjoying our ministry and continue to be amazed at what God has done and what God has in store!

I grew up in the Pentecostal faith and many of my theological thoughts and beliefs are through a Pentecostal lens. That being said, one of my passions is to engage in positive and inspiring conversations that help grow the Kingdom of God and everyone and anyone who desires to be a part of it! I hope everything I write will help inspire those who read it.

The purpose of the blog is to engage in relevant and current conversations, challenge the status quo, and inspire us to journey in the right direction. You can read why I blog by clicking here.  My hope and prayer is that this blog will not only offer information but will help us journey together.

For the Kingdom,
Andrew
